What a privilege to be invited to speak at the annual South African Adventure Industry Association (SAAIA) conference in Johannesburg. Collaboration at its best, with consummate professionals who are passionate about their industry and ensuring it is safe, fun and most importantly growing participants as individuals. Together we are driving the self-regulation of the adventure industry – myself with the SATSA team on behalf of tourism operators and Jessi Sunkel and her colleagues focusing on the Adventure Based Learning and Outdoor Education sectors. A blast to also meet up with friends from decades ago!
